About this website:

My firm is a new furniture shop located in Gladywne, PA.

I have been passionate about fine furniture making for many years having built my first piece more than twenty years ago.

The Past

I am a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. I have also completed a Master of Sciences degree in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania where I graduated with honors. After completing college I spent many years in the computer science field, working at the Thomas Watson Research Center for IBM doing three dimensional computer graphics research.

In 1994 I started, with a partner, a small software firm focusing on internet based online calendar/scheduler software. I currently sell this software from my website (Great Hill Corporation).

The Future

Over the past twenty years, excepting some time in the early 1990's during graduate school, I have been making fine furniture. My great passion is quality. If I have a choice between making an extra buck and making a perfect dovetail - the perfect dovetail wins every time (to the sometime consternation of my wife).

In recent years, my passion for furniture making has overtaken my interest in and love of computer software design, and I have recently decided to devote the remainder of my life to a pursuit of art in wood.
